Rozgar Camps: Provisioning Job References and thus empowering employments in Labour Class

The problem of unemployment is looming large. It is not difficult to find increasing numbers of people are unemployed regardless of the education backgrounds they have. On the other hand, poverty and poor economic conditions are the major reasons for lack of skills among the youths of India. Almost thirty percent of the Indian Population has never been to a school in their whole life, so conjuring a job out of nowhere becomes a challenge when these uneducated and illiterate youth set their foot in the market of employment and jobs. These people often form the section of workers who belong to the section of Unskilled Jobs.

Delhi, being the national and political capital of India shows a huge influx of population every single day. This rush of such floating population is often associated with job search. A massive amount of the population comes from the rural area of nearby states of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana or as far as Bihar.  These people lack basic education almost all the time and thus end up having Unskilled Jobs in Delhi. However, even after having Worker Jobs their living conditions do not gear up even to the fulfillment of the basic amenities of life.

To fight these circumstances the Government has introduced Rozgar Camps. The primary task of these camps is to Provide Job reference for unskilled jobs.They help the downtrodden section of workers in getting a decent job with a reasonable pay. The camps not only help the workers with getting placed in a job but also help them in sustaining their families.  Providing Job Reference becomes quite difficult without a verified back ground check. Hence they tie up with various security agencies to get a proper validation of these workers that justifies whether they have any previous criminal records or not.

Even though these camps cater to all the age groups from 18 onwards but the most effective age ranges from 18 to 35. Before they Provide Job reference for unskilled jobs,these workers are given training in the latest techniques if they end up having techie jobs like car/ TV mechanic or electrician. In other cases like the jobs of security guards, house maids or janitors they are just provided with the basic dos and don’ts as requested by the employing authorities or agencies.

This method of Job Reference provisioning helps these workers in Labour Jobs in plenty of ways. They received their deserved wages with respect and not feeling unsecured. Any adult individual can support their families with the help of these references. The job seekers are assisted promptly without roaming from table to tables like other government organizations. They also encourage women employment and self employment. In case women workers they often devise employment opportunities that enable them to work from home like garment sewing, etc. This plays a very important role in women empowerment on a national level especially when the current condition and safety of women in the region of Delhi and surrounding areas are not trustworthy.
